    RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

     Coachee enters this Coach-coachee agreement because you believe IT CAREERS has the expertise, tools, and know-how to navigate the US  job market. 

    Coach’s Mode of Operation

     

    1.  Session Overview

    • Most coaching sessions are planned for 60 minutes.
    • Sessions can be recorded upon the student’s request.
    • Nature of coaching sessions:
      • Career assessment with preparation for a background check
      • Resume development
      • Linkedin profile optimization
      • General interview preparation
      • Specific interview preparation
      • On-the-job assistance

    2.  Scheduling Information

    • Availability: Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM SET and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM SET.
    • Booking Policy: Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    3.  Personalized Teaching Plan

    Each student receives a customized “Teaching Plan” that includes:

    • Career Assessment and Goals: A clear outline of your career objectives.
    • Appointment and Payment Records: An accurate log of all appointments and payments.
    • Assignments/Homework: Tailored tasks to enhance your learning experience.

    4.  Appointment Scheduling

    • Appointments are scheduled upon request.

    Coachee Mode of Operation

     

    1.  Commitment to the Coaching Process

    • Coachees are expected to attend all scheduled coaching sessions punctually to ensure consistent progress and engagement.
    • Come prepared with questions, topics for discussion, and any relevant materials to maximize the effectiveness of each session.

    2.  Active Participation

    • Engage in Discussions: Actively participate in coaching sessions
    • Complete assignments or homework between sessions to expedite progress and reinforce learning and skill development.

    3.  Personal Accountability

    • Take Ownership of Your Career Development: Be proactive in scheduling appointments and asking questions. 
    • Share any challenges or obstacles you encounter during the coaching process. Open communication is vital for effective support and guidance.

    4.  Professionalism

    • Approach the coaching process with an open mind, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. A positive mindset can significantly speed up your growth.
    • Maintain confidentiality of the discussions held during coaching sessions, tailored guidance, and provided materials.

    5.  Utilize Resources

    • Take advantage of resources provided during coaching, such as templates, guides, and recommended readings, to enhance your learning experience.
    • If needed, don’t hesitate to reach out for extra help or clarification on topics discussed during sessions.

    6.  Goal Management

    • Work collaboratively with your coach to establish clear, achievable career goals that align with your aspirations.
    • Refer to the individual’s “Teaching Plan” to assess your progress toward these goals and be prepared to discuss successes and areas for improvement during sessions.

    Payments and Refunds

     1.  Payment Policy

    • All payments must be made before each session, in accordance with the Fee Schedule.
    • The preferred method of payment is Zelle for convenience and efficiency.

    2.  Cancellation Policy

    • A cancellation fee of $25 will be applied for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session.

    3.  Refund Policy

    • Refunds will be issued for all unused services.
    • Time Frame for Refunds: Refund requests should be initiated within 10 days of the service date to ensure eligibility.

    4.  Refund Method

    • Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
